Plot and Content Changes
- The Fifth Division launches into its attack as soon as Kitsuchi and Kurotsuchi unearth the White Zetsu in the manga. The anime keeps the unearthing here but defers the attack itself to episode 307 — and Hana Inuzuka and Karui's involvement is dropped from the sequence entirely. (Manga: chapter 521, page 10)
Animation Changes
- A Konoha-nin standing behind Tajiki's comrade picks up a left-under-eye scar in the anime — the manga shows him scar-free.
- The Leaf Coiling Whirlwind that Guy and Lee unleash on Haku has Lee on the right and Guy on the left in the manga. The anime swaps their positions for this episode. (Manga: chapter 522, page 14)
