Privacy Policy

What we don't do

We don't have user accounts, logins, comments, newsletter signups, ads, or affiliate trackers. We don't sell data to anyone.

Stored in your browser only

Two things live in your browser's localStorage and never leave your device:

• theme — your dark / light / system preference.
• afl:viewed:<show> — which episodes you've expanded on a show's guide, so the row stays marked as "viewed" on your next visit.

Clearing your browser's site data wipes both at any time.

Analytics scripts

Every page loads three lightweight, third-party analytics scripts so we can understand which guides get traffic and where the UI confuses people. They may set their own cookies and receive your IP and user-agent under their own privacy policies:

• Microsoft Clarity — aggregate heatmaps and anonymized session recordings of pointer / scroll / click behavior. Used to find broken layouts. Policy.
• Yandex Metrika — pageviews, bounce rate, and click maps. Policy.
• Ahrefs Web Analytics — cookieless traffic counts and referrer data. Policy.

These scripts run only in your browser; we don't combine their data with anything else. Blocking them with a tracker blocker, Do Not Track, or a browser like Brave / Firefox strict mode does not affect the site.

Contact form

The contact form collects the name, email, and message you type in. We use them only to reply to your request.

• Submissions are emailed to us; nothing is written to a database.
• The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile (CAPTCHA), which receives your IP for abuse scoring.
• You can ask us to delete any prior correspondence by replying to the same email thread.

Where our episode data comes from

From IMDB: only per-episode ratings and thumbnail images, fetched from the public IMDB API and cached on our servers. We do not import plot summaries, reviews, or any user-identifying data.

Filler, canon, and arc classifications come from two sources: corrections submitted by visitors through the contact form, and AI-assisted research that aggregates publicly available discussion from Reddit threads and other anime community forums. This processing reads public posts in bulk to improve accuracy — we don't store, link, or publish any individual user's identity, account name, or original comment.

Other third-party assets

For performance and bandwidth, a few static assets load from public CDNs, which see your IP as part of the standard HTTP request:

• jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) for the Fuse.js search library — loaded only when you open the search modal.

Changes to this policy

If we add or remove a script, change a data source, or otherwise update how the site behaves, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date above.
