Anime-Manga Differences Spoiler
Censorship
- Within his subconscious in the manga, Obito is shown being torn apart by the Ten-Tails' influence. The anime censors the moment of his head splitting apart, allowing only a brief glimpse. (Manga: chapter 640, pages 11-13)
Plot and Content Changes
- When Obito strikes at Naruto, Sasuke blocks with the hand of his Susanoo. The manga has the hand pierced through by the attack; the anime has the hand hold. (Manga: chapter 639, pages 15-16)
Animation Changes
- Obito's Truth-Seeking Ball eats through the Susanoo arm intercepting his attack almost immediately in the manga. The anime makes the block look successful instead. (Manga: chapter 639, pages 15-16)
- Continued from episode 375: Hinata's flashback here actually renders the Ten-Tails jinchūriki transformation faithfully to the manga, despite the original episode 375 version diverging from it. (Manga: chapter 638, page 3)
