Plot and Content Changes
- Naruto's Tailed Beast Mode produces three shadow clones in the manga but four in the anime. (Manga: chapter 696, page 8)
- The manga's sky during the fight is clear, leaving the ground below in full view. The anime blankets the area in cloud cover, which the two punch through before continuing the battle above it.
- Naruto starts fusing his Tailed Beast Mode with his clones' modes into a single avatar before drawing in the natural energy in the manga. The anime reverses that order — he gathers the natural energy first, then merges.
